Traveling From The US and Canada
There are direct flights to La Paz from Phoenix and Dallas/Ft Worth and there are numerous direct flights into San Jose del Cabo from major US airports including San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas/Ft Worth, Denver and Seattle. From there, you can rent a car or engage a local shuttle service for a ride to La Paz.
Traveling From Inside Mexico
You can reach La Paz, Baja California Sur, by flying directly into the Marquez de Leon International Airport from Mexico City, Guadalajara or Tijuana. Or, you can fly into Los Cabos International Airport and drive north on Highway 19. If you drive, plan on 2-2.5 hours. Once in La Paz, Paraiso del Mar is a short ferry ride away from Marina Cortez on El Malecón.
Traveling From Cabo to La Paz
Rent a car from most major rental companies just outside SJD airport. Then take highway 19 north through Todos Santos and into the city of La Paz. Marina Cortez is where you’ll catch the complimentary ferry ride to Paraiso del Mar. If you’d rather not drive, there are a handful of shuttle vans and taxis services, including UBER, that will transport you to La Paz.
Getting To Paraiso Del Mar
When you arrive at Marina Cortez in La Paz, your Paraiso del Mar vacation begins. The final leg of your journey is an easy, 7-minute ferry ride across the Bay of La Paz. This complimentary ferry departs from Marina Cortez every morning at 7:00am, shuttling guests back and forth every 30 minutes until 10:30pm. The schedule adjusts slightly with the change of seasons, so check with your concierge upon arrival.
